Starting from the etymological meaning of the word—observation post—the circle has always held a symbolic role linked to this term: first as a representation of the "globe" in observing our planet and celestial bodies, then as a representation of the "eye" in analyzing human behavioral dynamics. Today, the circle underpins most identity systems dealing with observation and analysis.
THE SQUARE
When talking about digital observation, we speak of data analysis. In data representation, the true protagonist of communication is the square—often used as a container or through a logic of fragmentation to convey the complex dynamics governing the digital world.
THE IDENTITY
The graphic proposal focuses on the relationship between the main geometric shapes (square and circle), concentrating on their definition within the initials of the name (OD).
